Sigd is related to Ethiopian Jews, having to do with when g-d revealed himself to Moses and Yom HaAliyah is Israeli Also it depends on your denomination and which saints calendar you adhere to pre 1955, 1955-1962 or post 1962 ok I'll stop there you get the Point.Īlso there are 2 'minor' 'holidays' ( not exactly the right word maybe days of observance ) for some Reform Judaism congregations that fall in Nov &/or Dec depending on the year: Sigd and Yom HaAliyah.
( Ash Wednesday, Good Friday etc ) November has one day not assigned to a saint and December has 3.So the Catholics alone *could* theoretically say they have 57 days 11/1to1/1but most Catholics do not celebrate all those saints days but only if it's your name saint or your patron saint.
There are only 17 days that I know of that are NOT assigned as a saint or feast day in the entire year, unless of course one of the 12 moveable feasts days lands on those days.
It's probably easier to list the days that aren't feast days or saints days. I was going to say there's a bunch of catholic feast days & Saints days.
